What Gottoglow Covers and How It Is Written
Updated September 2026: this page used to be a promotional "services overview" making broad claims about a team of experts and professional testing. I have replaced it with a plain description of what gottoglow.com covers and how its articles are written.
Gottoglow.com is a consumer technology and shopping blog written for buyers in India. It started as a personal blog, and many older posts are diary entries about work and family life. Since 2025 it has focused on helping readers make practical decisions about the devices and services they pay for.
What does gottoglow.com cover?
- Apple devices in India: buying, repair costs, battery life, accessories and the gaps between what Apple offers in India and elsewhere.
- Everyday tech decisions: streaming devices, cloud storage, subscriptions and the choices behind them.
- Shopping and consumer rights: refunds, returns, subscriptions and what to do when a purchase goes wrong.
How are articles written?
Articles are based on first-hand use where the post says so, and on published sources such as manufacturer documentation, official announcements and reputable news reporting where it does not. Claims that depend on a price or policy that can change are dated, and older articles are updated in place with a note at the top saying what changed and when.
Are any posts sponsored?
Any paid placement or sponsored content is labelled as such, and links in it are marked as sponsored. No link on this site is sold for search ranking, and product recommendations are not for sale.
Why do some older posts look different?
Because they are from a different time. Posts from the early years were short personal notes. Many have been rewritten into useful guides, keeping their original address and publish date, with the update clearly marked. Where a post could not be made useful, it has been kept for the record but hidden from search.
How are mistakes corrected?
When a reader or a later check finds a factual error, the article is corrected in place and a note at the top explains what changed. Corrections are not made silently, and publish dates are never altered to make an old post look new.
Who is this site for?
Readers in India deciding what to buy, what to subscribe to and what to do when a device or service lets them down. If an article helps you avoid one bad purchase or one wasted afternoon with customer support, it has done its job.
