Information about Writing Novel

I often touch on the different aspects of fiction writing in my blog, Writer's Edge[http://www.writers-edge.info], but I don't think I would presume to tell anyone else how to write their book. We all develop our own methods, sometimes different ones for different novels.

For example, right now I am working on my third book. The story idea arrived whole in my mind (a rare occurence for me!), so I wrote up a quick outline: beginning, middle, end. Some writers call this a "framework" for a book. Then I expanded the outline and found I needed a cheatsheet on each character, a list of settings, a chronology of events, and a chart of relationships (it's a complex middle). I tried having all this on the computer in one file of MSWord documents, but I really needed a faster reference method that wouldn't take me out of the page itself. I printed out the charts and tables and posted them on a bulletin board near my desk. I couldn't possibly keep all this information straight in my mind before I write the book.

Having this novel pretty much completely outlined allows me to focus on the writing craft now. After several decades of writing, I know that this procedure works much better for me than just writing and seeing where it goes (nowhere, usually).

For you, I would suggest that you first get a better grasp of the language, if you're going to write in English professionally. Never pass by an opportunity to practice good writing and to demonstrate your skills.

Ancient Case Information

Lets examine portuguese case: they engaged in forced conversions and aggression against everyone including even the nasranis. They tried their maximum to convert as many people as possible. Eventually even the christians/nasranis here could not tolerate them. And they got ejected by the dutch.

British case.....they tried conversions directly till 1857, when missionary excesses led Hindus and Muslims to unite against them.

Britishers may have been highly organized. But they were no mongols or mughals. If the hindus and muslims of the subcontinent sneezed together, the british would have landed in arabia. British colonials- around 80,000 to 2 lakh of them controlled the Indian subcontinent, through their sheer organisation skills and by recruiting locals. They could not risk letting missionaries scot free, as they
understood the risk of hindu muslim unity.

Info about Yamaha in market

The Yamaha Gladiator SS has fought hard and still offers honest value for its price. It is a good motorcycle and ahs its strength but fails to match the Honda CBF Stunner as an overall package. The CBF Stunner is worth its premium sticker price and the better motorcycle of the two top put your money on if you are in the market for a sport 125. It excels thanks to its class-leading style, willing and comparatively fuel efficient engine as well as a superior riding position and better handling. Thatís not all. The Stunner looks so good that Honda dealers are certain to find themselves in a spot trying to explain to Unicorn customers how this 125cc model looks better than its more up market 150cc sibling.

Get into habit of Listening

Get into the habit of active listening. Listen to as many different people as possible - your friends, your family, your boss, co-workers, customers-anybody who can give you a new thought or perspective to think about. Ideas are almost always born of dynamic blending of thoughts, and the more you listen to what other people have to say, the greater your chances of striking a new idea you might not have thought of on your own.

Got Info of Indo-US relations

Indo-US relations were a “theatrical drama” enacted to induce India to support the US with a view to isolate Iran on one hand and help build a cold war situation in China.
....
Agree with that completely, what are strategic alliance for ? China is a bigger threat due to increasing might and clout of the Chinese and India seems to be the apt ally to play with so as to neutralize china. Iran with nukes on the other hand is a threat to Israel and U.S will slowly win favor with India and pressure India to stop supporting her natural ally,Iran. Iran and India has been having ties long before U.S was even made a country ,India's oil needs are satisfied by Iran and any halt in that would send our economy spinning . But there is so much of U.S pressure to stop buying oil from Iran.

My guess is that there would be a sharp increase in petrol prices in India soon .Our economy will go slow for this year.

Got Info for Socrates trial and execution

It looks like the author has tried to make a subtle point in this book. What he is saying is that the execution order for Socrates had public backing. It wasn't a malicious verdict by a group of conspirators with a personal score to settle. Still it doesn't add up to much. After all, you cannot take someone's life based on lame assumptions like Gods getting angry because they were teased by a wily old guy. Doesn't matter whether such a verdict had the sympathy of a hundred or a thousand people. It was another blasphemy charge leading up to an innocent scholar's death.

Getting Novels My View

I didn't mean the novel was so free as to be the same as prose fiction. There are some internal peculiarities. A good delimitation is this: “[The novel] is a distinctive (and then quite innovative) kind of prose fiction — featuring a concern with subjectivity and the consciousness of ordinary people, ordinary language, and everyday contemporary events — that emerged in Europe at various points in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and that began to dominate the popular market in England in the early eighteenth century.” The definition is by J. Paul Hunter, in “Gulliver’s Travels and the later writings”. You see then that the novel, as it came into being, was very different from the fantastic adventures of knight errants or mythological heroes, who were also present in prose fiction.

Got About Illumination Info

I saw a film by Krzysztof Zanussi recently, called Illumination. It is a film about science: its ethics, politics, successes and failures, and the ambitious young physicist who is trying to find his way. Anyone who is interested in science would enjoy this film, and what is interesting is that even though this is a film from 1974, the issues and scientific accomplishments it covers are particularly relevant and current. Illumination is St Augustine's theory that moments of clarity and understanding come about in a Platonic revelation of the real world that is more a result of a purity of heart than intellectual effort.

The importance of the first voice

She did her best to push everything out of her mind, choosing instead to focus by losing herself in the mere act of jogging. The utter repetition of picking up her feet and putting them back down again, one at a time, over and over, the scenery changing both suddenly and gradually, looking up and realizing over ragged breath that she'd come nearly two miles was therapy in and of itself. And to think that people pay for doctors, she laughed as she took and kicked forward again, her mind drifting away from running and where she was until reality jammed its way back into her life, jammed itself right and square and undeniable as before her she saw

Feel the Unity

Unity is the key to break the bondage of loneliness and insecurity. Remember, the Taj can be rebuilt. The Oberoi-Trident has reopened. Nariman House can be rebuilt. But one thing that cannot be changed is that nothing will bring back the people who died during the terror attacks.

Slaughtering Cow My View

From ancient time India was a land with full of diversities ... Till today the situation is exactly same ... There may be differences in opinion - but based on that, division land is not acceptable .... Creation of Pakistan - I think it was a blunder - both for Hindus n Muslims - It will be clearer with every passing day ...

And I feel it so painful that many Muslims perceive that they are successors of some foreign invaders - this humiliates me a lot - in fact it will humiliate any Indian .... In some cases Muslims are unnecessarily arrogant ... I find no reason for that ...

Anyway ,, in this case - the slughtering of a heavily pregnant cow was totally unnecessary !! ..... Its not about majority or minority - Its more to do with humanity ... Here ,, slughtering of a heavily pregnant cow could be avoided ....
